![]() ![]() I've been here before, and here's how it will go. ![]() Tonight "Shipping Exception" delay, and that's when I notice "Ding Hong" is the partner. "Item location: Ohio."Įarlier today, I received USPS tracking. Since this sub is "USPS Complaints", let's be fair and clear: these people are gaming USPS (and us). Its my first time working with this company though have you had any updates since this was posted? the label was created 5 days ago so its still gonna be a while (especially with customs) but wanted to see what the time frames were. thats what it means by the state and address- thats the city that the package will arrive into from where ding hong ships it in. ![]() It's saying that the package is expected to arrive in cali but it hasn't actually shipped from cali yet they're just waiting for the item. there were some negative ones mainly about the quality of the phone cords they sold (the game cartridges were positive though, which was what i was going for) and two about the times being different between ebay's estimated and the actual arrival time. Not to revive a dead post, but i just ordered a thing on ebay from someone in HK and they use this a lot of the reviews on their shop were positive (and they were descriptive with photos and not your generic paid ones). They have taken care of the leg work so you don't have to wait 30 days for it to go through customs So technically it is still being shipped to you from inside the United States when your order it. Now as far as how they can know the shipping number in advance, all I can guess is that they print a label off the internet and then whoever is running the username get the tracking number and marks it as shipped to give you the number, even though it will take 3 to 5 days for it to be picked out of the supplies, and packed up, and actually truly shipped out with whatever company. There is the possibility as well that instead of having family or friends on this end to run things for them, there is instead a company like "Ding Hong" who will give them so much room in their commerical space/warehouse to store their products for a price per month.Įither way someone or some company here in America will hire a couple or so employees to work at the commercial space/warehouse to stock supplies, pick orders, & pack orders. They may have some family or friends here in America who can help them run this side of things, or they may be the one who is here, and have family or friends back in China who can handle that end to get it to them. They send massive shipping containers full of stuff they plan to sell across the sea on a boat, and once it clears customs they have it taken to the commercial space/warehouse. They rent commercial space, or a warehouse that has enough space to accommodate a few employees and all of the items they plan to keep at that location. Instead what these suppliers who want to sell in the US have started doing is a multi pronged approach to make it quicker to get the supplies to buyers, which makes the buyers more likely to buy from them, so they can make money and undercut others, if there are any others selling the same items. If it was it would take more like 30 days for it to actually get to you because of customs. It's not actually shipping to you from China. ![]()
